During an inspection of a flyover construction site in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath noticed a family living in a tin shed nearby. Moved by their plight, he immediately directed officials to provide the family with a permanent home under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
The family, comprising a mother and daughter, had been living in difficult conditions under the temporary shelter. The Chief Minister’s prompt action brought tears to their eyes as they expressed their gratitude for the unexpected assistance.
CM Adityanath emphasized the importance of ensuring that no family in the state lives without a proper roof over their heads. He instructed the concerned authorities to expedite the process and ensure that the family receives their new home as soon as possible.
