In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a 21-year-old youth, Vishal Kumar, met a tragic end while attempting to intervene in a dispute during a cricket match in Bharat Nagar, northwest Delhi. According to police reports, Vishal sustained fatal internal injuries amidst the altercation, ultimately succumbing to the violence that unfolded.
Authorities have swiftly sprung into action, registering a case of murder in connection with the incident and deploying dedicated teams to apprehend the perpetrators responsible for Vishal’s untimely demise. Survived by his wife and one-year-old son residing in Pratap Nagar, Vishal leaves behind a grieving family, including his younger siblings engaged in their studies.
Vishal, employed at a cosmetics factory in Sadar Bazar, responded to a distress call from his younger brother, Kunal, who found himself embroiled in the altercation during the cricket match. Tragically, upon Vishal’s arrival at the scene, he faced a brutal assault with a cricket bat, resulting in his immediate hospitalization and subsequent declaration of death upon arrival by medical professionals.
As the investigation unfolds, three suspects linked to the fatal attack have been identified, with authorities assuring the community of imminent arrests.
