A devastating accident occurred in Kurshedpura village on the Jagraon-Jalandhar road, as a high-speed tractor-trolley tragically crushed two young girls. The modified tractor-trolley, bearing no number plate, was reportedly transporting Sangat at a high velocity near Hole Mahalle, en route to Sri Anandpur Sahib for Hola Mahalla festivities.
In a heartbreaking turn of events, the out-of-control tractor-trolley collided with Palak’s 10-year-old daughter, Jaswinder Singh, and Arshdeep Kaur’s 11-year-old son, Tarlok Singh, resulting in Jaswinder’s tragic demise and leaving Tarlok Singh critically injured. Following the accident, the tractor-trolley overturned on the road, while the driver and passengers fled the scene.
Authorities from Udhar Thana Sidhwan Bet arrived at the site to investigate, discovering the unregistered tractor-trolley. The police are conducting a thorough investigation to ascertain the origin and circumstances surrounding the ill-fated vehicle’s journey. This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by reckless driving and the need for stringent enforcement of road safety measures.
