A heart-wrenching incident has rocked Patiala as a 10-year-old girl tragically lost her life after consuming a birthday cake. According to the mother of the deceased, the family ordered a cake online from Kana Bakery to celebrate the girl’s birthday on March 24. However, after consuming the cake, the health of the entire family deteriorated.
The girl began vomiting shortly after eating the cake, but eventually fell asleep. The next morning, the family discovered her cold body and rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared brought dead by doctors. The grieving mother has lodged a complaint against the bakery owner, prompting police to initiate an investigation into the matter.
Despite the serious nature of the incident, the health department is yet to conduct an inspection of the bakery or collect samples, raising concerns about public safety. As the community grapples with this devastating loss, authorities are urged to swiftly address the situation and ensure accountability for the tragic outcome.
