Motorists traversing the National Highway through Punjab will soon face steeper toll charges as rates are set to escalate once again at the Ladoval Toll Plaza. Effective midnight on March 21, toll fees will see a hike of 5 to 10 rupees per vehicle, significantly impacting travelers commuting from Ludhiana to Jalandhar and beyond.
This marks the third toll increase within a year at the Ladoval Toll Plaza, sparking frustration among commuters. The toll plaza manager, attributed the new tariff adjustments to directives from the National Highway Authority.
