After the Supreme Court granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the excise policy case, his wife Sunita Kejriwal congratulated the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) family. She expressed hope for the early release of other leaders currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
Meanwhile, senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia strongly criticized the BJP, calling the court’s decision a major message to the ruling party. He claimed that the Supreme Court’s verdict was a blow to the BJP’s alleged dictatorial practices and accused the party of misusing central agencies like the CBI, likening it to a “caged parrot.” Sisodia demanded an apology from the BJP for imprisoning an honest leader like Kejriwal.
The Aam Aadmi Party, while thanking the Supreme Court, hailed the decision as a victory for truth and justice. Party members and supporters have celebrated the ruling, expressing relief and hope for the future. Kejriwal’s bail has boosted the morale of the party, which has been battling legal and political challenges. The case, which revolved around the excise policy, remains a hot topic, but the court’s decision has provided temporary relief for the AAP leadership.
