Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatrughan Sinha expressed confidence today that his party, as part of the ‘India’ alliance, will secure victory in the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand. The actor-turned-politician claimed that the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has lost its credibility and is attempting to divert attention from the real issues faced by the public.
Sinha, who ended his three-decade association with the BJP a few years ago, commented, “The BJP has lost its credibility, and its leaders are well aware of this, even if they don’t admit it. This is why they keep making various statements to distract people from real issues.”
After briefly being with the Congress, Sinha now represents Asansol in West Bengal as a TMC MP. He believes that the ‘India’ alliance, which has already established its presence, will only grow stronger in the coming days. He is optimistic that the coalition will perform well in the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Jharkhand, delivering a promising alternative to the current ruling party
