In a thrilling start to their Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign, Punjab Kings emerged victorious over Delhi Capitals, securing a four-wicket win in today’s match. Delhi Capitals, batting first, set a competitive target of 174 runs in 20 overs, powered by notable contributions from David Warner (29 runs), Mitchell Marsh (20 runs), Shai Hope (33 runs), Rishabh Pant (18 runs), Abhishek Porel (32 runs), and Akshar Patel (21 runs).
However, Punjab Kings chased down the target with determination and precision, reaching 175 runs in 19.4 overs. The stellar performances of all-rounder Sam Curran, who scored a crucial half-century with 63 runs, and Liam Livingstone, who added 38 runs, paved the way for Punjab’s triumph.
