Sandeep Dhand Ludhiana
Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit visited Ludhiana today to inquire about the condition of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) leader Sandeep Thapar Gora, who was severely injured in a brutal attack three days ago.
During his visit to the Circuit House, Governor Purohit commended the police for their swift and commendable action against the culprits involved in the attack. Despite the state’s severe drug problem, Purohit expressed satisfaction with the police’s efforts in maintaining law and order.
The Governor also spoke with the doctors treating Thapar and expressed his sympathy to Thapar’s family. He acknowledged that while the law and order situation in the state is a concern, the police are performing well under challenging circumstances.
Purohit assured that the third accused in the case would be apprehended soon. He directed the police to take strict action against Thapar’s gunman, indicating that the investigation into the attack would be closely monitored by his office.
The visit underscored the state’s commitment to addressing violence and maintaining public safety, with the Governor taking a personal interest in ensuring justice for the injured leader.
