The Punjab government has announced a public holiday on February 12 for Guru Ravidas Jayanti. All government offices and schools will remain closed.
Celebrations include grand processions across districts on February 11. Jalandhar authorities have also ordered meat and liquor shops to remain closed on February 11 and 12.
