In a crucial hearing today at the Punjab and Haryana High Court concerning the ongoing Kisan movement, the court delivered strong remarks, asserting that both Punjab and Haryana have failed in fulfilling their responsibilities adequately. The High Court, upon reviewing the pictures, openly commented on the farmer agitators, expressing dismay at the involvement of children in the protests and questioning the parenting behind such decisions. The court stated that it is a matter of shame to place children at the forefront, especially when armed. The judiciary firmly asserted that such actions, veiled as demonstrations with children carrying weapons, go against the cultural ethos of Punjab and are deemed inappropriate.

Highlighting the importance of maintaining decorum and adhering to the principles of peaceful protest, the court emphasized that using children in such a manner is neither in line with the cultural heritage of Punjab nor ethically justified. This stern commentary underscores the court’s commitment to upholding standards of conduct and responsibility amidst the ongoing agrarian protests.
