In her first address to the joint meeting of both Houses of Parliament in the Eighteenth Lok Sabha, President Draupadi Murmu firmly stated that those responsible for leaking the NEET UG exam paper would not be forgiven and would face severe punishment. She emphasized the government’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of competitive examinations.
President Murmu’s remarks come in the wake of a recent scandal involving the NEET UG paper leak, which led to the detention of two individuals in Patna. These suspects allegedly provided candidates with the exam papers and answers in exchange for accommodations.
Highlighting the government’s dedication, President Murmu said that the administration is determined to empower the youth of the country. She assured that steps would be taken to ensure that such malpractices do not recur, thereby protecting the future of aspiring medical students.
Additionally, President Murmu recommended creating an enabling environment for government initiatives in education. She underscored the importance of a robust education system in fostering the nation’s growth and development.
The President’s address reinforced the government’s resolve to uphold the sanctity of educational examinations and to take stringent actions against any attempts to undermine it. The government aims to support and empower the youth, ensuring a fair and transparent examination process for all students.
