Ahead of his bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, French President Emmanuel Macron spoke about the strong friendship between India and France. In an interview with India’s ‘Firstpost’ and French news network ‘France2’, Macron shared his views on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Indo-French relations, and the US.
India Produces More Engineers Than US and Europe
During the interview, President Macron praised India’s strength in technology and education. He called India a “training superpower” and highlighted that the country produces one million engineers every year. This, he said, is more than the number of engineers trained by the US and Europe combined.
Macron emphasized that both India and France want to train young talents so they can explore global opportunities. However, he also stressed the importance of ensuring that skilled professionals stay in their home countries to contribute to national development.
Macron Greets Indians in Hindi
At the beginning of the interview, Macron welcomed the people of India in Hindi. He said, “Bharat ke logon ko mera namaste,” expressing his warm connection with India.
The interview reflects the strong and growing partnership between India and France, with a focus on technology, education, and AI. Macron’s words show how both nations are working together to shape the future in these key areas.
