Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a series of rallies across Bihar, pledged to thwart the INDIA bloc’s alleged plans to divert reservations for SCs, STs, and OBCs to Muslims, accusing the coalition of “enslavement” and performing “mujra” for votes.
Addressing crowds in Buxar, Karakat, and Patliputra, Modi criticized the opposition for scaremongering and claimed he has been fearlessly working to eradicate terrorism and corruption. He condemned insulting remarks made by Congress leaders about Bihari migrants and accused the INDIA bloc of planning to amend the Constitution to secure reservations for Muslims.
Modi highlighted that the Yadav community and other deprived castes could lose their constitutional rights if the INDIA bloc succeeds. He asserted that the opposition coalition is heading for defeat and predicted internal conflicts post-elections.
Emphasizing his government’s achievements, Modi promised further development in Bihar, including better electricity and housing. He also unveiled the “PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana” to eliminate electricity bills.
In response, NCP and RJD leaders criticized Modi’s language and accused him of tearing apart civil discourse norms. RJD’s Manoj Kumar Jha dismissed Modi’s claims, highlighting that backward Muslim classes have received reservations in BJP-ruled Gujarat for years.
As voting progresses, Modi urged voters to support NDA candidates, positioning each vote as support for his leadership and vision for a developed India.
