Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stones for various development projects worth over Rs 7,600 crore in Maharashtra. Through a video conferencing event, the Prime Minister launched key initiatives, including the upgrading of Nagpur’s Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and the foundation stone of a new integrated terminal building at Shirdi Airport.
In addition to infrastructure projects, PM Modi inaugurated 10 new government medical colleges across Maharashtra, boosting the state’s healthcare and medical education capacities. These colleges are expected to significantly improve access to medical education and healthcare services.
During the program, the Prime Minister also inaugurated the Indian Skill Institute and Vidya Samiksha Center in Mumbai, underscoring the government’s focus on skill development and educational monitoring.
These projects are expected to enhance Maharashtra’s infrastructure, healthcare, and education sectors, contributing to the overall development of the state.
