Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone by dedicating five new All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to the nation. The AIIMS facilities are located in Rajkot (Gujarat), Bathinda (Punjab), Rae Bareli (Uttar Pradesh), Kalyani (West Bengal), and Mangalagiri (Andhra Pradesh). In addition to the healthcare initiatives, PM Modi laid the foundation stone for various development projects during a public address.
Addressing the gathering, PM Modi reflected on the decentralization of major government programs, emphasizing his commitment to reaching every corner of the country. He highlighted the shift from the concentration of initiatives in Delhi to a more widespread approach, bringing the government closer to the citizens.
