Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the recent Maharashtra assembly election results, stating that voters have endorsed development and rejected the politics of lies and deceit propagated by Congress and its allies. Speaking at the BJP office, Modi said the elections sent a clear message of unity, embodied in the slogan “Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain” (United We Are Safe).
Modi emphasized that divisive politics, nepotism, and instability were defeated in Maharashtra and in by-elections across various states. He noted that the people of Maharashtra voted for stability and taught a lesson to those attempting to create unrest.
The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the voters of Jharkhand, promising to work with greater zeal for the state’s development. Highlighting BJP’s appeal across different sections of society, Modi remarked that “Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain” has become a nationwide mantra, punishing those who tried to divide the country along caste and religious lines.
BJP President JP Nadda echoed the sentiment, stating that Maharashtra’s voters have affirmed the Prime Minister’s vision of progress. Modi further criticized Congress, asserting that voters rejected its false promises made in states like Karnataka, Telangana, and Himachal Pradesh.
