Prime Minister Narendra Modi today criticized the Congress, claiming it has wasted time in internal conflicts and failed to serve as a strong opposition over the past decade. During an interaction with Haryana BJP workers through the Namo app under the ‘Mera Booth, Strongest’ programme, Modi discussed preparations for the upcoming assembly elections on October 5. He assured BJP workers that the party will secure victory at every polling booth. Modi urged them to focus on connecting with every family at the booth level in the remaining week.
He also alleged that the Congress, distracted by its internal battles, has been distant from the concerns of the people. According to Modi, the party’s loud claims have weakened, and it has lost the trust of Haryana’s citizens. He added that the Congress’s failure as an opposition over the past 10 years has led people to give the BJP another chance to govern the state.
