In the NIRF 2024 rankings, the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI MER) in Chandigarh has been ranked as the second-best medical institute in India for the seventh consecutive year. This consistent ranking highlights PGI MER’s excellence in medical education, research, and patient care, solidifying its reputation as a top medical institution in the country.
Additionally, Punjab University Chandigarh secured the fifth position in the overall university rankings, while Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana achieved the third position in the agriculture education category. These rankings reflect the high standards of education and research maintained by these institutions, contributing to their continued success and recognition on a national level.
