Among the committees chaired by Congress, senior leader Digvijay Singh will head the Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth, and Sports. Former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has been appointed as the chair of the Committee on Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Food Processing. Saptagiri Shankar Ulaka will chair the Committee on Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, while Shashi Tharoor will lead the Committee on External Affairs.

On the BJP side, Radha Mohan Singh will chair the Defense Committee, which includes Rahul Gandhi as a member. Bharatruhari Mahtab has been appointed to head the Committee on Finance. Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur will chair the Committee on Coal, Mining, and Steel, while Rajeev Pratap Rudy will lead the Committee on Water Resources.
