In a poignant display of solidarity, Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Waring and Kisan Wing National Chairman Sukhpal Singh Khaira undertook a solemn march from village Chowke to Ballho. The leaders, accompanied by a sizable contingent of party workers, aimed to express their condolences to the family of Shubkaran Singh, a youth who lost his life on the Khanuri border of Punjab and Haryana.
Addressing the gathering at the village’s grain market, Raja Waring criticized the current Punjab government, accusing it of capitulating to the central government. He lamented the lack of direct action against the perpetrators of Shubkaran’s tragic death, emphasizing that the government’s pursuit has only been against ‘unknown’ entities.
Sukhpal Singh Khaira echoed these sentiments, drawing parallels to previous cases where perpetrators were deemed ‘unknown.’ He declared an ongoing struggle until the true culprits behind Shubkaran’s demise are brought to justice. The leaders’ march and impassioned speeches underscored a call for accountability and a quest for justice that resonated with the gathered crowd, promising a continued fight for the truth.
