Mari Gowda explained, “I have resigned following the instructions of the Chief Minister. Additionally, I am facing some health issues, which further contributed to my decision.”

The controversy centers around allegations that Mari Gowda was involved in the improper allocation of plots, raising concerns about transparency in the process. While the full details of the accusations have not been disclosed, the situation has created pressure on MUDA and the government.

Mari Gowda’s resignation comes at a time when there is heightened scrutiny over the activities of MUDA and other urban development authorities in the state. The resignation is seen as an attempt by the state government to distance itself from the issue and ensure a fair investigation. Further developments are expected as the investigation proceeds.
