A tragic incident occurred on a local Daba road where a young man and his companion were seriously injured after their motorcycle crashed into an electric pole. They were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, one of the victims succumbed to his injuries during treatment, while the other remains in critical condition.
According to reports, the two friends were heading to their home on their motorcycle when a group of 8-9 youths tried to stop them near Dholewal Chowk. Refusing to stop, the duo sped away, prompting the group to chase them.
In a desperate attempt to escape their pursuers, the motorcycle rider lost control, causing the motorcycle to crash into an electric pole. Both riders were thrown from the motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries. The group of youths fled the scene after the accident occurred.
The local police have taken swift action, registering a case against nine individuals involved in the chase. Investigations are underway to apprehend those responsible. The incident has sparked concern and calls for stricter enforcement of road safety and security measures in the area.
