In a mild seismic event, tremors were experienced in Delhi and nearby areas on Thursday, originating from an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 near Afghanistan, according to the National Center for Seismology. The incident occurred at 2:50 pm, causing momentary unease among residents.
The earthquake’s epicenter, situated in Afghanistan, led to vibrations being felt in parts of Pakistan, specifically Lahore, and in various areas of Jammu and Kashmir, including Poonch. Fortunately, there have been no immediate reports of casualties or property damage resulting from the seismic activity.
