In a welcome development for residents near the Khanuri border of Sangrur, internet services have been successfully restored following a temporary shutdown amid ongoing farmers’ agitation. The affected regions, including Sunam, Lehrgaga, Chhajali, Khanuri, and Patdar, experienced a halt in internet services from the night of February 12.
The suspension had posed significant challenges for the local populace, impacting their daily routines and communication. Faced with these difficulties, residents appealed to the government for a swift resolution and the restoration of internet services. Responding to the plea, authorities have reinstated internet connectivity in the aforementioned areas.
This positive step has been met with a collective sigh of relief from the affected communities, allowing people to resume their regular activities without hindrance. The reinstatement of internet services underscores the importance of digital connectivity in the modern age and addresses the immediate concerns of the residents, highlighting the delicate balance between public protests and essential services.
