Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi have strongly condemned the recent attack on former US President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania. Taking to social media, both leaders expressed their deep concern and unequivocal disapproval of the violent incident.
Prime Minister Modi stated, “Very concerned about the attack on my friend, former President Donald Trump. I strongly condemn this incident. Violence has no place in politics and democracy. I wish him a speedy recovery.” He extended his sympathies to those affected, adding, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the deceased, the injured, and the American people.”
Similarly, Rahul Gandhi voiced his condemnation, saying, “I am very concerned about the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump. Such actions should be condemned in the strongest possible terms.” He wished Trump a speedy and complete recovery.
