Despite having four penalty corners, India was unable to convert any into goals. China, who earned five penalty corners, also struggled to score. Both teams put up a strong defense, but it was Jugraj Singh’s crucial goal that made the difference and secured India’s victory.

In the match for third place, Pakistan beat South Korea with a commanding score of 5-2, securing their spot on the podium.

India’s win highlights their growing strength in international hockey and their ability to perform under pressure. The victory also serves as a significant milestone for Indian hockey, boosting the team’s confidence as they prepare for future international tournaments. China’s performance, on the other hand, was commendable, reaching the final for the first time, but India’s experience and resilience helped them maintain their winning streak.
