India Loses Pink-Ball Test Against Australia by 10 Wickets

India faced a crushing 10-wicket defeat against Australia in the second pink-ball Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The match ended in the first session of the third day, leveling the five-match series 1-1.

Australia showcased their dominance in pink-ball cricket, securing their 12th win in 13 matches played with the pink ball. They also maintained an unbeaten streak at Adelaide, winning all eight day-night matches hosted at the venue.

India’s poor batting performance was the main cause of the defeat, as the team could bat only 81 overs across both innings. Resuming the day at 128 for five, India lost Rishabh Pant (28) in the very first over of the day. Despite a resilient 42-run knock by Nitish Kumar Reddy, India’s second innings ended quickly at 175 runs in just 36.5 overs.
