The Election Commission has completed all preparations for the polls, with over 20,000 polling teams deployed across the state’s 20,632 polling booths. To maintain law and order, 225 paramilitary companies, around 29,000 police personnel, 21,000 Home Guard jawans, and 11,000 retired soldiers have been stationed. Additionally, vigilance has been heightened on borders with Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, and flag marches were conducted in various constituencies.

Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Aggarwal stated that political parties can set up polling booths 200 meters away from the main stations. The booths are restricted to having one table, two chairs, and no promotional material, food, or large gatherings are allowed at these sites. The aim is to ensure transparent, fair, and peaceful elections.
