Opting to bat first after winning the toss, Hyderabad posted a competitive total of 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Chasing the target, Gujarat Titans showcased a dominant batting display, reaching the target of 163 runs with ease. Wriddhiman Saha contributed 25 runs, while Shubman Gill scored 36 runs, and Sai Sudarshan added 45 runs to the scoreboard for Gujarat. Notably, David Miller played a crucial innings, scoring 44 runs, supported by Vijay Shankar, who remained unbeaten with 14 runs.
For Hyderabad, Shehbaz Ahmed, Mayank Markande, and Pat Cummins managed to claim 1 wicket each but failed to contain Gujarat’s batting onslaught.
