Bollywood actor Govinda was questioned by officials from the Mumbai Crime Branch regarding an incident involving the accidental firing of his pistol. The actor sustained injuries in the incident, which took place at his residence in Mumbai on Tuesday. According to officials, apart from the local police, the Crime Branch has also joined the investigation to gather more details about the circumstances of the mishap.
The police have reported that, as of now, no complaint has been filed in connection with the incident. The actor is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, and his condition is said to be stable.
