After the Gonda train accident, the central government has announced to pay Rs 10 lakh each to the family members of the deceased. Along with this, Rs 50,000 will be given for the treatment of the injured. Orders have been given to investigate the Gonda train accident. Let us tell you that the train from Chandigarh to Dibrugarh met with an accident. Eight coaches of the train derailed about 20 km from Gonda in Uttar Pradesh. So far, five people have died in this accident while more than 20 people are reported to be injured.
As soon as the information about the accident was received, the railway officials left for the spot. Along with this, an NDRF team also reached the spot. Relief and rescue work is going on at the site of the incident. According to information, after the train accident, local people immediately rushed to help and rescued the victims. Fifteen ambulances also reached the spot. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. Railways has released helpline numbers after the accident. Apart from this, two passenger trains have been cancelled. Eleven Express, Mail, and Superfast trains have been rerouted.
The prompt response from local residents and authorities has been crucial in managing the aftermath of the accident. The investigation will aim to determine the cause of the derailment and prevent such incidents in the future. Meanwhile, the compensation announced by the government is expected to provide some relief to the affected families. The rerouting and cancellation of trains are temporary measures to ensure safety and manage the traffic following the accident.
