Freight Train Carrying Coal Derails Near Vrindavan, Disrupts Train Traffic

A major disruption occurred near Vrindavan railway station late at night when 20 coaches of a freight train carrying coal derailed. The derailment caused significant delays, bringing the movement of trains on three key railway lines to a complete standstill.

The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of the North Central Railway (NCR) Zone reported that due to this derailment, several trains were affected, particularly on the Mathura-Palwal route, causing inconvenience to passengers. Emergency teams were immediately deployed to assess the situation and work on clearing the tracks.

Efforts to restore smooth traffic flow are ongoing, with authorities focusing on getting the affected lines operational as soon as possible. The incident has raised concerns about train schedules in the region, but officials assured that they are working diligently to resolve the situation.

While no casualties or injuries were reported, the incident has caused a temporary halt in both freight and passenger services in the affected area. Authorities are also investigating the cause of the derailment and are expected to release further information once the situation is fully under control.
