In a shocking incident, former Bahadurgarh MLA Naresh Kaushik and 11 others have been named in a murder case involving the assassination of Indian National Lok Dal (INLO) Haryana president, Nafe Singh Rathi (66), and his associate Jai Kishan. The brutal attack took place near Barahi level crossing, where unidentified assailants in a car ambushed Rathi’s SUV.
Rathi and Kishan were fatally shot at close range, with Rathi’s bodyguards sustaining injuries in the assault. The assailants, after carrying out the ruthless act, fled the scene, leaving behind a grim aftermath. A concerned passer-by, upon hearing gunshots, promptly alerted the police.
The investigation is underway, but as of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the case. The shocking incident has sent shockwaves through the community, raising concerns about the safety of public figures.
