25 February

In a significant development on the 13th day of the ongoing Kisan Morcha in Shambhu and Khanuri, Kisan leader Sarwan Singh Pandher announced plans for conferences on both borders. Pandher urged the government to withdraw from the World Trade Organization (WTO) and voiced concerns about the plight of farmers.
On February 26, farmers plan to symbolically express their discontent by blowing up effigies of the central government, standing over 20 feet tall, at both protest sites. The Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and SKM (Non-Political) are set to convene a national leaders’ meeting on February 27, with joint discussions planned for February 28. The farmers will decide their next course of action on February 29.
Sarwan Singh Pandher specifically called on Prime Minister Modi to address the alleged mistreatment of farmers. As tensions escalate, the agricultural community remains steadfast in its demand for dialogue and resolution, amplifying the urgency of finding common ground between the protesting farmers and the government.
