On January 15, the NIA, under the provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) Section 33(1), issued orders through the special court in Mohali to attach Gurjant Singh’s property. The accused, residing in Bachde village, Tarn Taran, now faces the forfeiture of his 2 kanals and 4 marlas of land. It’s noteworthy that Gurjant Singh suffered permanent loss of eyesight due to the explosion.
