Explosion in Firecracker Factory Claims Three Lives in Bareilly

An explosion in a firecracker factory in a village under Sirauli police station in Bareilly district, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the death of three individuals and left five others injured today. The incident occurred in a small factory, causing significant damage to the surrounding area.

According to Bareilly Superintendent of Police (SP) Akmal Khan, the powerful explosion led to the collapse of four nearby houses. Three people lost their lives in the tragic incident, while five others, including a woman, were injured and immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.

The firecracker factory was operating under a license registered in the name of Nasir Shah. Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the cause of the explosion and ensure proper safety regulations were being followed. The police are also looking into whether there was any negligence involved in the factory’s operations.

The explosion has raised concerns over the safety of such factories, especially in residential areas. The incident has left the community in shock, and families affected by the collapse of their homes are struggling to cope with the aftermath. Further action will be taken based on the ongoing investigation to prevent such tragedies in the future.
