According to the ED’s Delhi regional office, the searches were conducted following allegations of financial irregularities in the STP project. The project, initially estimated to cost ₹1546 crore, was allegedly inflated to ₹1943 crore during the tender process without following proper procedures. The agency has lodged an FIR against the suspects involved.

The ED’s actions are part of a broader effort to clamp down on corruption and ensure accountability in public projects. The seized documents and evidence are expected to play a crucial role in the ongoing investigation.

This operation highlights the ED’s commitment to tackling financial misconduct and safeguarding public funds. As the investigation progresses, more details are likely to emerge about the extent of the alleged corruption and the individuals involved.
