As of now, there are no reports of any casualties or property damage due to the earthquake. However, residents in the affected areas felt strong tremors, causing brief panic.

The authorities are closely monitoring the situation and assessing any potential impact. Assam, being a seismic-prone region, frequently experiences earthquakes, and today’s event serves as a reminder of the region’s vulnerability to such natural occurrences.
