Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh urged Youth Congress workers to adopt organizational strategies from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) while addressing a protest in Jabalpur against the alleged nursing college scam and NEET paper leak. Singh acknowledged the Congress’s traditional opposition to the RSS but emphasized the need to learn from their effective message delivery and organizational expansion.
Singh noted that the RSS excels in influencing minds without resorting to direct protests or facing imprisonment, often leading others into confrontation instead. He stressed that successful protests require a strong grassroots organizational structure and advised Youth Congress members to organize protests at three levels: booth, district, and beyond.
Highlighting the RSS’s methods, Singh pointed out their focus on distributing pamphlets, holding discussions, and financing agitations. He encouraged Youth Congress workers to intellectually challenge the RSS using similar tactics rather than physical confrontations.
Singh’s remarks aimed to inspire Youth Congress members to enhance their organizational skills and effectively convey their message, ensuring their protests have a more substantial impact.
