This order comes after the court reviewed the supplementary charge sheet filed against the accused. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) submitted its final report in the case on August 6. The money laundering investigation is based on an FIR initially registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The land-for-job scam allegedly involves Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members receiving land from job seekers in exchange for employment in the Railways during his tenure as Railway Minister. The case has been under investigation by central agencies, with further legal proceedings set to take place following the court’s summons.
