The Congress party has announced a list of 40 star campaigners for the upcoming Haryana assembly elections. This group includes prominent figures from the party who will campaign across the state. Notably, wrestling champions Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, who recently joined Congress, have also been included in this prestigious list.
Among the star campaigners, key leaders from Punjab such as former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Waring, and senior leader Pratap Singh Bajwa will play significant roles in boosting the party’s election efforts.
The Haryana assembly elections, covering 90 seats, will be held on October 5, with vote counting scheduled for October 8. The ruling BJP, aiming for a third consecutive victory, is facing strong competition from a revitalized Congress, which is hoping to reclaim power in the state. The inclusion of high-profile figures and popular personalities like Phogat and Punia adds extra weight to Congress’s campaign strategy.
