The Congress party has announced its candidates for the seven assembly seats in Rajasthan by-elections. Amit Ola, son of Congress MP Brijendra Ola, will contest from Jhunjhunu, while Aryan Khan, son of Zubair Khan, has been nominated for Ramgarh, a seat that fell vacant after his father’s death. Deendayal Bairwa will represent the party in Dausa, and Kastur Chand Meena, Ratan Chaudhary, Mahesh Rot, and Reshma Meena will run from Deoli-Uniyara, Khinwasar, Churasi, and Salumbar, respectively.
Unlike the Lok Sabha elections, Congress has not formed any alliances with regional parties for these by-elections. On the other hand, the BJP has declared candidates for six of the seven seats. Voting will take place on November 13, and the results will be announced on November 23.
