The chargesheet, submitted in a special CBI court in Patna, alleges that Amit Kumar Singh was the key player in the operation. He was assisted by four others: Sudeep Kumar, Yuvraj Kumar, Abhimanyu Patel, and another individual named Amit Kumar, all residents of Patna.

According to the CBI, the accused were involved in distributing the leaked question papers to beneficiaries before the NEET UG exam. Their illegal actions aimed to provide unfair advantages to select candidates, undermining the integrity of the examination process.

A CBI spokesperson confirmed that the total number of accused in the case has now risen to 45. All the individuals charged in the case are currently in judicial custody.

The investigation highlights the extent of organized efforts to compromise the competitive exam. The agency continues its efforts to strengthen accountability and ensure fair practices in such examinations.
