In a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra accused the ruling party of failing to address the pressing issue of unemployment in the country. Dismissing the BJP’s claims of ‘Modi’s guarantee’ as mere political rhetoric, Gandhi emphasized the severity of the unemployment crisis.

Sharing a compelling video on social media, Priyanka Gandhi drew attention to the plight of numerous job seekers standing in long queues in Israel. She lamented that the government’s inability to provide employment has pushed thousands of young Indians to seek opportunities abroad, akin to citizens in times of war.

Gandhi stated, ‘In times of war, our priority is to rescue citizens and bring them back home. However, today, the government’s mismanagement has led to a situation where our youth are compelled to face economic struggles resembling the impacts of war.’ She argued that the lofty promises of a ‘five thousand billion dollar economy,’ ‘two crore annual jobs,’ and ‘Modi’s guarantee’ made during elections were nothing more than empty slogans.

Expressing concern over the dire circumstances, Gandhi questioned why young Indians were forced to stand in long queues abroad instead of finding employment in their own country. She emphasized that the real issues facing India today are unemployment and inflation, and the BJP government lacks effective solutions.

According to Priyanka Gandhi, the youth of the country are becoming increasingly aware of the government’s shortcomings in addressing their concerns. As the unemployment crisis continues to deepen, she asserted that the BJP’s promises are being exposed as mere gimmicks. The urgency of finding concrete solutions to the unemployment and inflation challenges has become a rallying cry for the disillusioned youth who expected better from the ruling party.
