The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its manifesto for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, scheduled for October 5. BJP National President JP Nadda released the party’s 20-point “Concept Paper” under the slogan “Haryana Non-Stop.” Key promises include a monthly cash incentive of Rs 2,100 for women under the ‘Lado Lakshmi Yojana’, continuation of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all 24 crops, and two lakh jobs for the youth.
In addition, BJP has pledged employment guarantees for firemen, Rs 500 cooking gas cylinders, and scooters for girl students in rural areas. Nadda emphasized that the BJP’s manifesto is a serious pledge, contrasting it with the Congress manifesto, which he claimed was only a formality.
It’s worth noting that the Congress party also released its election manifesto a day earlier, promising seven key guarantees, including Rs 2,000 per month for women and housing for all, if they come to power.
The BJP’s manifesto reflects its focus on empowering women, youth employment, and continuing support for farmers, while setting the tone for a competitive election in Haryana.
