Expressing concern over the BJP’s alleged disregard for farmers’ interests, Mr. Lakhowal urged fellow farmers to unite and boycott the BJP in the upcoming elections. Highlighting the need for solidarity, he announced plans for a rally in Jagraon on May 21, aimed at protesting against the BJP’s policies and actions.

The rally is expected to serve as a platform for farmers to voice their grievances and demonstrate their resolve to hold elected representatives accountable. Mr. Lakhowal appealed to farmers across the region to participate actively in the rally, emphasizing the importance of collective action in safeguarding farmers’ rights and interests.

As the elections draw nearer, the Bhartiya Kisan Union’s stance sets the stage for a potential shift in political dynamics, reflecting the growing discontent among agricultural communities towards the ruling party’s policies.
