Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal will move into bungalow number five on Ferozshah Road, Delhi, on October 4, following his resignation as Chief Minister of Delhi. The bungalow is located near the AAP headquarters and was officially allotted to AAP’s Rajya Sabha member from Punjab, Ashok Mittal.
Earlier, former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had moved to a bungalow on Rajendra Prasad Road, which previously served as the official residence of AAP’s Rajya Sabha member Harbhajan Singh. AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj informed reporters about Kejriwal’s move to bungalow number five on Ferozshah Road.
Party leaders added that Kejriwal will use the residence to stay in the New Delhi region while overseeing AAP’s campaign for the upcoming elections in Delhi and other states. The move will keep Kejriwal closer to AAP’s key activities and political developments during the campaign.
