Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal campaigned in Hoshiarpur for candidate Raj Kumar Chabewal, launching sharp attacks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chanting “Jai Shriram,” Kejriwal accused Modi of considering himself above God and claimed that BJP members might soon replace temple idols with Modi’s pictures.

Kejriwal highlighted the Prime Minister’s evolving self-image, noting that in 2014, Modi referred to himself as the “Pradhan Sevak” (chief servant), in 2019 as a “Chowkidar” (watchman), and now allegedly as an avatar of God. Kejriwal urged voters to humble Modi by voting against him.

Addressing concerns about reservation, Kejriwal assured that as long as he is alive, no one will abolish it. He emphasized AAP’s achievements, such as zero electricity bills in Delhi, now replicated in Punjab. Kejriwal contrasted AAP’s performance with previous governments, stating that no administration in the past 75 years has provided as many benefits as AAP has in two years.

He called for public support to win all 13 Lok Sabha seats from Punjab, accusing the Modi government of withholding ₹8,500 crore from Punjab. Kejriwal framed the election as a fight against dictatorship and urged voters to support AAP for a stronger Punjab.
