Shah also noted that the stagnation in policy decisions, which existed before, had been eliminated. Under Modi’s leadership, India has been transformed from being one of the weaker economies into an attractive destination for investment. He expressed confidence that, due to the government’s policies, India would become the most developed country in the world by 2047.

Shah pointed to various reforms made across sectors, including improved infrastructure, better connectivity, the rise of the digital economy, and expansion of the railway network. He also highlighted the establishment of semiconductor and electric vehicle manufacturing units as significant developments under the Modi government.

The Home Minister further credited the government for successfully tackling internal security threats such as terrorism, Naxalism, and extremism in the North-East. He said these issues have been effectively buried under the ground, contributing to the nation’s stability.

Shah also emphasized the welfare schemes introduced over the last decade. The Modi government, according to Shah, has provided free food grains to 80 crore people, built 12 crore toilets, and supplied 5 crore free houses. Additionally, 11 crore households have received free electricity connections, and 15 crore people have gained access to clean drinking water, marking significant strides in improving the quality of life for millions of Indians.
